Brynteg CP School is an English‑medium primary school. Welsh is taught as a second language and is used regularly throughout the school day to promote bilingualism.
We are located in the village of Brynteg in Wrexham. The local area has a rich historical background in steel works, coal and lead mines.
Currently, we have around 160 pupils enrolled, including Nursery and Funded Early Education students who attend part-time. Our school operates on a single form entry system, and most of our pupils live in the local area.
At Brynteg CP, outdoor learning is highly valued, and we are fortunate to have a fantastic forest school and ample outdoor facilities. We even have our own ducks! We make the most of our local surroundings and strive to provide our learners with enriched opportunities to develop their skills in the community.
To keep parents and guardians informed, we use the Seesaw app to share classroom learning and Facebook for news and updates.
